My clients hire me because they want something different; the standard corporate headshot against a plain white background is definitely out. Instead, most clients are looking for a corporate staff headshot that feels modern and stylish.
 
It used to be that I would suggest “editorial style images” – now my clients are suggesting it first, they are looking for something with a bit more “life” something that isn’t as “boring”. My approach is to allow 15-30 minutes per sitter depending on the brief. Allowing some time for everyone to relax and get something beyond a quick snapshot. Working on-site does have its challenges but it also opens up a world of possibilities – even if your office walls are plain and boring there will no doubt be some options in stairwells, reception areas, or outside on the streets near your offices. Headshots only need a small space and can often be successful in the most inauspicious places.

A location, or environmental, headshot is simply that; a professional portrait shoot on location.

Whereas Studio headshots are corporate headshots taken with studio lighting and usually artificial backgrounds.

I offer both studio-style & location headshots. I have a fully portable “Studio Setup” that enables me to provide a studio service in the convenience of your office. All I need from you is an empty 4m x 4m space to set up in.

With this space, I can create outdoor-ish-looking portraits indoors, or plain background headshots indoors, or environmental portraits in or outdoors.

I happily work on location, both indoors & outdoors!
